Privilege Post by Toodeep » Wed Sep 23, am I don't know the official differences or how much was not standard. From what I can tell the Privilege comes with Automatic air conditioning rather than manual so you set your preferred temperature on the digital display and the system does whatever it needs to in order to achieve it. I think the Privilege models all come with the electric panoramic sunroof and a minimum of half leather seats.
All of the stuff on kornnut's car is on my goddaughter's Privilege 1. I have my doubts whether the latter is standard as few forum members mention it. Double-clutch transmissions make super-quick gear changes — faster than humanly possible — and offer reduced fuel consumption compared with a conventional automatic. However, to feel these transmissions working at their best you need to use a lot of right foot to get off the line cleanly, which immediately detracts from the fuel efficiency.
In Megane hatch under review, the six-speed EDC transmission is linked to a 1. The engine is Euro 5 compliant and produces peak torque of Nm at a low rpm, and kilowatts at rpm. Power is run through the front wheels and there is no sign of torque steer even under hard acceleration.
Renault claims the EDC transmission saves 17 per cent on emissions when compared to a conventional auto. No one could ever accuse the French of producing boring cars and the Megane hatch is living proof of a beautifully sculpted five-door hatch. It is short but rakish and looks great on the road thanks to short front and rear overhangs. In the Privilege the front seats have power height and reach adjustment, while the steering wheel also has height and reach adjustment.
The seats are pretty comfortable though and there's good leg room for rear seat passengers. Hiring rather than buying? Our guide will save you money. NEW: Child seat chooser - Don't buy a car seat until you've used this.

I'm looking at Grand Scenics and can see that they have a number of trim levels Authentique, Dynamique etc etc but from the prices on used cars I can't quite work out their order.
Can anyone assist with a list of the trim levels in order of equipment etc please? Many thanks Reply Report as offensive Link.
This hierarchy may well be muddied by 'Special Editions'; I'm sure there was an Oasis, but have no idea where it fitted I'd guess Authentique plus?
Sorry, in terms of trim I'd guess: Authentique: Nothing except perhaps central locking? Black door handles! Body colour door handles!
