I believe the story is that Murry fronted Mike some cash, and in exchange Mike agreed not to be credited on many songs he supposedly co-wrote. I think Brian actually had two different publishing companies going simultanously at some point. Sea of Tunes, and I forget the other one. I think both were used on Pet Sounds , for example.
